Les loved to visit Sussex and he and Pauline would come and spend a week with mum and me each year, enjoying Arundel, especially the antique shops looking for and buying old picture postcards, and riding the bus around the county. He always took the West Sussex Gazette to keep up with Sussex news. Both Les and Pauline were very creative, with Les making his own greetings cards with flowers they had pressed. Cycling played a big part of his younger days, and I am sure he cycled to Pulborough from Camberley. With love from Jan
